Tourniquet
A tourniquet is a medical device that prevents blood loss by compressing the blood vessels of a severely injured limb. This particular design is composed of two simple components: a cleat and an elastic band. The band is wrapped around the affected limb and exerts pressure to halt blood flow, while the cleat serves as a locking mechanism to secure the band in place.
